T.Parker Owner /Head Instructor

For over thirty-eight years, I’ve trained in martial arts. It all started after I watched Bruce Lee as a kid. The first school I joined was with Grand Master Y.B Choi in New Jersey.

Then,  trained with Master Crocco for fifteen years until I purchased his school in 2001. Throughout the years, I was also honored to continue my training with Master Malefyt for over 15 years.

Ben Pate /Asst. Instructor

I started Taekwondo in fifth grade because my Dad wanted me to learn how to stand up to a bully. I was light and flexible, excelled at Taekwondo's high kicks, jumps, and spins, and won medals in several tournaments, including the US Junior Olympics.  It worked, by the way, and the renewed confidence I received in Taekwondo class meant that the kids at school never picked on me again.
As my teen years gave way into my 20s and 30s, life's other responsibilities have brought me in and out of Taekwondo classes too many times. In that time, I have been fortunate to study and teach both WTF and ITF-style Taekwondo, under several teachers, from Olympic coaches to 9th-degree Kukkiwon grandmasters.
Now in my 50's, I'm happy to be back studying Taekwondo with Master Parker at T-Kick.  Now as a dad, I'm helping my kids on their paths to black belt and beyond.  My #1 goal is to see them grow into the adults I know they will be, guided in no small part by the discipline, strength, and compassion that each of us learns in Taekwondo.

Estel Yates /Asst. Instructor

I've trained in ITF Taekwon-Do for 7 years. I started because I wanted to learn how to protect myself in uncertain situations, but it developed into a deep appreciation for the history and the principles of integrity and perseverance that have helped me in many aspects of my life.

Magnus Magee / Tricking Instructor

When I was 5, I started Kung Fu, because Jet Li inspired me. I used to watch the “Kids From Shaolin”  repeatedly; dreaming of doing all the cool martial arts moves. Then, I started Taekwondo in January 2017 at the age of 7. I was drawn to weapons sparring, (mom says I’m a weapons kid) and I have been practicing Taekwondo ever since. My first taekwondo school was Venture Martial Arts. My first influences for CMX (Extreme Martial Arts)  were Paige Bantum and Trace Megellas, two ATA notables. Because of their influence, I began to learn tricking(martial arts-inspired acrobatics) and weapon tricks. My NASKA career started at AKA Warrior Cup 2022.  Jackson Rudolph was my BO staff instructor, and he urged me to compete in NASKA.In the fall of 2023, I was invited to compete with the Amerikick National Team. Of course, I happily accepted the invitation, as it was my dream team for years.

My current instructor is Master Parker. I am thankful he is tough and holds me accountable, always making corrections in traditional taekwondo, so that I may improve my skill set. I have been blessed to have access to the dojang to put in the time I need to accomplish my goals.

Fernando Espinoza / Asst. Instructor

Sr.Red Belt

I started martial arts in January of 2022 to find a great way to get in shape, challenge myself, and meet new people. Since I joined martial arts, I have gained strength, flexibility, and quick reaction. In the future, I want to accomplish my 1st Dan Black belt rank at the beginning of next year. Also, I will compete in more tournaments to gain more experience with my sparing skills. In my free time, I enjoy playing roleplaying games, watching martial arts movies, or finding an adventure to go on with my wife and dog.

L.C / Muay Thai Instructor

I started my martial arts journey in 2016 with kickboxing and self-defense. I expanded my knowledge and training in 2018 to Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I've studied and coached Muay Thai for 6 years and earned a rank of purple in December of 2022. I've studied Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu intermittently since 2018 and earned my blue belt also in December of 2022. Some of my favorite hobbies are riding my motorcycle and being a musician for over 25 years with my primary focus being in drums/percussion and vocals.
